Colors Urban Art
For the Colors street art festival i did This work of art which draws its inspiration from the "lo life" culture of New York in the 90’s which was for me a miror of Marseille’s street life at the same periode. It features a B-boy character riding a bicycle, a symbol of freedom, surrounded by the city's characteristic red lights.
The composition is animated by a jerky rhythm and dynamics that evoke the vibrant energy of this urban environment. At a deeper level, the work reflects on our consumerist society, with its brands and cultural allegiances, whose limits are represented by these red lights: an allegory of order and obstacles.
The question then arises: to pass or not to pass...
